Thanks for the question, we have had customers that have said that they pill, however we have 5 sets of these sheets ourselves, none of them have pilled at all, and if they are cared for as per instructions, we find that they do not pill.
They are not stretchy. We have a thick mattress with a foam over layer and these sheets fit without any problems. They do not stretch like jersey sheets. 

The sheets have a sateen weave so the silky texture makes it much easier to remove pet hair.
